When discussing buying your dream property with us, it is important to be clear on what you’re looking for but also remain open-minded. We’re experts at what we do, and can find the right home for everyone. While you are unlikely to find something that ticks off every point on your list, we help you come as close as possible!
Don’t write properties off without viewing them – go and see as many as you can. It may surprise you just how different they can be in real life! You are making a big decision when buying a new home, so we’ll give you as much help and advice along the way as you need. Someone from of our expert team will arrange for you to have a viewing of the property so that you can get a feel for the property.
So you have had an offer accepted! If you are buying through Zoom, we will take the property off of the market and charge you a small admin fee (£118.80 including VAT) to show commitment towards the purchase.
Once you have found your new home you will need to instruct a solicitor to carry out the legal work for you. We recommend that you have a survey so you are aware of any potential issues in the property, and arrange a mortgage offer, such as a mortgage in principle. The quicker you can do this the better so that you don’t hold up the sale.
Once all paperwork is complete it will be time to exchange contracts. It is usual to have two weeks between exchange and completion but it can be done within a day in some cases. Once you exchange it is time to book removals if needed and start to notify others of your new address.
On completion day all you have to do is wait for your solicitor to let you know that the money has cleared before collecting keys from Zoom.
